Joining Cheer and Dance Express

The 2012-2013 Cheer season is ending this Thursday with our last tumbling class! It has been a very exciting season for our girls. Kiki has always been our cheerleader and it was so much fun to see Kinya and Kanana join her this year. They have all improved so much and their confidence in their skills increased at an impressive rate. They feel so accomplished this year after winning the second place in their first national competition in Kansas City. We feel blessed that the owners of Cheer & Dance Express in Lincoln opened a gym in Beatrice! Karen and Courtney have been a gift not only to my girls but to the Beatrice community in general. Before they came to town, Kiki was cheering with the Beatrice Allstars through the YMCA. After two years of competative cheer, the group dissolved and it was heartbreaking for the girls and the parents as well. A few parents signed their girls with Lincoln gyms and as much as Kiki wanted to continue with cheer, I knew that drive would be difficult for our family. She was heartbroken, and so was Kinya who had been looking forward to join the cheer team. Now we feel so blessed to be a part of the CDE family.
